MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Futures for the S&P 500 stock index fell over 5 percent in early day's trading, reaching a multi-month minimum of 2028.50 points. The Nasdaq futures index also fell over 5 percent to 4558.50 points, the lowest value since mid-July. The DJIA index fell over 4.5 percent to 17,459 points, the lowest since late June.
Republican nominee Donald Trump is currently leading with the votes still being counted. Trump is ahead of his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton with 254 Electoral College votes to 215, with 270 needed to win, according to Fox News analysis.
