WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — During his presidential campaign, Trump proposed a ten-point immigration plan. He pledged to stop the flow of undocumented immigrants from Mexico and to build a wall on the US southern border. Trump also suggested suspending Syrian refugee program.
"President Donald Trump's immigration policies are very similar to the ones sitting in the Senate and in the House of Representatives today: to temporary suspend immigration from counties that harbor terrorism, immigration from Syria until we get better vetting. That's not extreme," Priebus stated in an interview on MSNBC.
On Sunday, Trump confirmed that he had chosen Priebus to be his White House chief of staff.
