WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — "There’s a lot when you get down here that you’re unaware of, that you didn’t realize existed and so I plan on being available like a senior staff for him as he moves," Biden stated after Pence and his wife had lunch with the Bidens at the Naval Observatory.
Biden also noted that no administration is completely ready on day one, and expressed confidence that they were leaving the White House “in good hands.”
This is the second meeting between Biden and Pence since the election. The two first met in the Vice President's White House office on November 10.
