WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko emphasized during a call on Wednesday the importance of Kiev making swift progress on reforms tied to funding from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the White House said in a press release.
"The leaders also discussed Ukraine's reform trajectory and emphasized the need for continued swift progress, including on steps needed to secure Ukraine's next tranche of IMF funding," the release stated on Wednesday.
