The Minister took to the social media on Monday morning to reveal that she was in hospital due to kidney failure.
"I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless," she wrote on her Twitter handle.

"She is being investigated as per her tweet and continues to be in good and stable medical condition," Dr Amit Gupta, head of AIIMS media and protocol division said.
"Her transplant test is going on. It will take a week or two at least; because donors are being found out," says sources.
The premier Government hospital, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), was to update her health status this evening but cancelled the press briefing.
Swaraj’s Tweet about her illness evoked widespread sympathy including offers for kidney donation to the charismatic politician.

Swaraj, 64 years, is one of the most experienced ministers of Narendra Modi cabinet but remained absent in most of the Indian Government’s key strategic decisions, especially after the terror attack on an Indian Army camp and the strain in relationship with Pakistan.
