MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad accused on Thursday Syrian moderate opposition of using chemical weapons, supplied from foreign countries.
"So-called moderate terrorist groups are using chemical weapons provided by countries supporting terrorism against the Syrian army and civilians," Haddad told reporters.
On November 13, Aleppo militants conducted the third chemical attack in the past two weeks, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
On Tuesday, Damascus urged the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to send experts to investigate the chemical attacks.
