WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The two are to discuss a possible Cabinet secretary position for Romney and his experience as governor of the state of Massachusetts in the 1990s, CNN reported, adding that a time for the meeting hasn’t been set.
Romney was the Republican Party’s choice to try to unseat President Barack Obama four years ago. Although he quickly abandoned his 2016 run, Romney sharply criticized Trump during the campaign as a fraud, a misogynist and a bully who as president would threaten the country’s future.
After Trump's victory last week, Romney congratulated the incoming president and praised his victory speech.
