LUXEMBOURG (Sputnik) — The negotiations with Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel were constructive, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said Thursday.
"We had a very constructive dialogue with Prime Minister Bettel. He is a very progressive person and by his policies indicates that people in the country are of prime importance. Luxembourg obviously stands out by investing the main resource in human capital, education, health and culture," Golodets told reporters during her visit to Luxembourg to mark the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
"We have very serious prospects and good potential [in cooperation in humanitarian sphere]. We, in our turn, can offer several programs that will be useful for both countries," Golodets said.
During her visit, Golodets also met with President of the Chamber of Deputies Mars Di Bartolomeo and Minister Delegate for Higher Education and Research Marc Hansen.
