A stunning video has been released by the Russian Defense Ministry to give kudos to Russia's Marines Day which is annually celebrated on November 27.
The video, available at the Defense Ministry's official YouTube channel, is titled "Where We Are, There is Victory", the motto of the Russian Marines.
The footage shows their combat skills, with soldiers performing a whole array of tasks pertaining to shooting, parachuting and overcoming obstacles on the ground and in the water.
In a commentary to the video, the Russian Defense Ministry said that on November 27, 2016, the Russian Armed Forces mark the 311th anniversary of the establishment of the regular Marine Corps in the country.
"Created by Tsar Peter I three centuries ago, the Russian Marines have repeatedly showed their courage and heroism in defending the Motherland, thereby proving their necessity and significance," the Ministry said.
