MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The victims, two adults and two children, died after a three-floor home was engulfed with flames, the Akron Beacon Journal reported on Saturday, citing information received from firefighters.
Another 12-year old child reportedly received grave injuries and was hospitalized after jumping from the third floor of the building in an effort to escape the blaze.
The News 5 Cleveland channel reported, citing the local fire department, that up to six people were rescued and two of these have been hospitalized as the fire was tackled in the early hours of Saturday.
The cause of the fire has so far not been determined.
