The US-led coalition against Daesh has allocated $32 million to provide immediate assistance to the stabilization effort in northern Iraq’s Nineveh governorate with its capital in Mosul, Special Presidential Envoy for the Coalition Brett McGurk announced on Monday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Brett McGurk made an announcement regarding allocation in his Twitter account.

"With Governor of Ninewa today, approved immediate distribution of $32M in @coalition support to help stabilize areas cleared of ISIL [Islamic State]," he tweeted.
