WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Raytheon has won a $110.1 million contract to support a US Navy air-and-missile-defense radar system and related equipment, the Department of Defense announced.
“Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems [of] Sudbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $110.1 million…contract…in support of the Air and Missile Defense Radar Program (AMDR) S-Band Radar (ADMR-S) and radar Suite Controller,” Tuesday’s announcement said.
Work will be performed in the state of Massachusetts and is expected to be completed by December 2017, the Defense Department added.
