MOSCOW (Sputnik) – He also said that the Saudi-led coalition used UK-made cluster bombs and Storm Shadow cruise missiles in Yemen operation.

"They have sold cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia. They know the Saudis are going to drop them on Yemen… in Sa'adah and in Sana'a and other provinces … I don't think they are guilty of war crimes, I believe so. They are participating in the bombing of Yemen people," Abdulaziz bin Habtour told Sky News in an interview on Tuesday.

Yemen has been engulfed in a violent conflict between the government headed by Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the Houthi movement, backed by army units loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Since March 2015, the Saudi-led coalition of mostly Persian Gulf countries has been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthis at Hadi's request.
