WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Representatives of the US Army Corps of Engineers Europe District and Embassy of Estonia in Washington, DC also participated in the event.
"We're with … Estonian Defense Forces for the ERI [European Reassurance Initiative] projects' ribbon cutting today," the Twitter message said.
The 27 projects, totaling $11.2 million, will be fully operational in February 2017, according to US Army Europe.
They include machine gun ranges, rifle qualification and sniper courses, and will boost the US Army’s ability to conduct training with NATO, according to US officials.
