ALEPPO (Sputnik) — About 1,500 people left Eastern Aleppo with the first convoy, a Red Crescent employee said Thursday.
"About 1,500 citizens — families of militants and those injured — left with the first convoy," the employee told RIA Novosti.
A convoy of 25 buses and 12 ambulances left Aleppo in the direction of Atarib in the Aleppo province's southwest.
