MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The UN official said that tens of thousands were expected to leave eastern Aleppo, most of whom would go to Idlib, while the rest may go to Turkey.
"We do hope that today we see the start of the last and successful attempt of evacuations of that troubled city," Egeland told a briefing.
Earlier in the day, a convoy of buses started moving toward eastern Aleppo to evacuate civilians.
