WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Software company Azure Summit Technology has been awarded a $48.5 million contract to support analysis of signal-sensor data used on manned and unmanned US Navy platforms, the Department of Defense said in a release.
"Azure Summit Technology, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a $48,454,343 five-year contract for support of the Common Chassis Signals Intelligence sensor," Friday’s release stated.
The Common Chassis Signals Intelligence mission sensor is deployed on manned and unmanned platforms in support of multiple Navy missions and will be used for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance on each platform, according to the release.
Work under the contract is expected to be completed by December 2021.
