MOSCOW (Sputnik) — US police arrested a 44-year-old man, who is suspected of wounding a police officer in Mount Vernon, US state of Washington, following a standoff, local media reported Friday.
Those who were previously believed to be his hostages were arrested alongside the man and are now considered persons of interest, KIRO7 broadcaster reported.
The officer who was shot is being monitored and is reported to be in serious but stable condition.
