Moscow Regrets Western Officials Scaring People With 'Russian Threat'
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin urged on Friday managers in state-owned firms to be modest and not irritate less well-off people by building "provocative" houses.

"Speaking about the practice of building ‘provocative’ real-estate objects by business people, including from companies where the state is a stakeholder, I agree they should be more modest. I’ve said this many times in the hope that they will get the message," Putin said.

Speaking at an annual press conference, the president added the same went for managers’ bonuses and salaries. He called on business community to act reasonably and try to not to provoke the people.
