Today’s headlines include: A look at the road ahead for EU/UK Brexit negotiations; and could Turkey be on the verge of granting president Erdogan the power to do away with Parliament?

As the UK Parliament remains in recess, and EU leaders remain three weeks away from their first summit — Brexit negotiations are in a state of limbo…  We’ll be looking at the road ahead, the likely compromises, and the hush hush pre-negotiations that have been taking place in the background.

With the referendum date drawing nearer, it appears that Turks are likely to vote yes on granting President Erdogan executive powers and doing away with the parliamentary system. We’ll be asking what the consequences could be.

In what appears to be yet another about-face, President Trump has said that NATO is “no longer obsolete.” But what may have caused the president to change his mind? We’ll be taking a closer look.
