MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The G20 summit will be held in Hamburg on July 7-8.
"Agreed, on the 7th [of July]," Ushakov told reporters.
The White House also confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump would meet on July 7, the NBC network reported Tuesday.
Moscow hopes that the United States will be ready for dialogue on the bilateral agenda and strategic stability at the talks between Putin and Trump, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Tuesday.
"As for the topics, it is… natural that both Syria and Ukraine will be the focus [of the conversation]. But the agenda is not limited to this. We expect that the presidents will have enough time to discuss other issues as well, including strategic stability, a whole range of bilateral topics, we at least assume that the US side will be ready for such a dialogue," Ryabkov said.
