"Employees of the Consulate General will meet with the detainees in the next few hours and take all necessary steps to ensure their legal rights and interests," Mikerin wrote on his official Facebook page, adding that the Consulate has received an official response to its request regarding detention of the Russian nationals.
The press attache expressed hope for establishing contact with families of the detainees seeking their possible assistance in the matter.
