MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The bill will be tabled in the parliament, however, the parliament members are unlikely to vote or debate on it until autumn, the Politico media outlet reported.
"This Bill means that we will be able to exit the European Union with maximum certainty, continuity and control. That is what the British people voted for and it is exactly what we will do — ensure that the decisions that affect our lives are taken here in the U.K.," the statement of UK Brexit Secretary David Davis read as quoted by the outlet.
The bill will end the supremacy of EU law in the United Kingdom and include some EU regulations in UK law, where it is appropriate.
Brexit negotiations officially started on June 19, when UK Brexit Secretary David Davis arrived in Brussels to negotiate the terms with EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier.
