MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) — Mexican marines and federal police killed on Thursday the leader of a recently-formed Tlahuac-Chalco drug cartel that has controlled drug sales in the eastern Valley of Mexico, local media reported.
Felipe de Jesus, also known as "The Eyes," was found in a house in Tlahuac district, according to Excelsior news website. He was gunned down after refusing to give in without a fight. A huge stash of arms and ammunition was also discovered.
