MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The applications of other two convicts were declared inadmissible because they had disclosed the friendly-settlement negotiations, according to the release.
"The Court declared, by a majority, the applications of Anzor Gubashev and Shadid Gubashev inadmissible because they had disclosed the friendly-settlement negotiations, which are confidential," the ruling reads.
"The Court held, unanimously, that there had been: a violation of Article 3 with regard to the conditions of Mr. Eskerkhanov’s detention… and the conditions of his transport and detention in a convoy cell [as well as] a violation… concerning the lack of a speedy review of the grounds for Mr. Eskerkhanov’s detention," it stated.
The court named 6,000 euros (nearly $7,000) as a "just satisfaction."
