"Future warfare requires the ability to do several complex tasks very quickly: taking in massive amounts of data, processing it into usable information for warfighting forces, and then using the resulting information," the release stated on Monday.
The exercise was hosted by the Air Force in the state of Florida as part of an effort to counter advances by adversaries that are encroaching on US dominance in the space and cyberspace domains, the release noted.
The strategy can deliver an overwhelming force onto the battlefield through any means necessary — air, space or cyberspace — guaranteeing the success of American, allied and partnered military forces, the release explained.
"While this exercise was not the first-ever multi-domain C2 exercise, it was the first of its size and importance," the release said.
The strategy aims at creating a high ops-tempo based on multiple inputs that can outpace an enemy’s ability to respond, according to the release.
