MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Nigeria's The Guardian newspaper, the NAF was engaged in an operation dubbed Lafia Dole when it found several hideouts of the militants in the Sambisa Forest in northeastern part of the Borno State.
The newspaper added that following a number of reconnaissance missions the country's aircraft destroyed a housing facility of the militants, killing several of them.
Boko Haram is a militant organization affiliated with Daesh terrorist group, outlawed in many countries, including Russia and the United States. The organization is infamous for its numerous attacks and abductions carried out in Nigeria, as well as in the neighboring African nations.
