WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Republican Congressman Peter King, a member of the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee, told ABC News that congressional investigators want to interview Rhona Graff, a senior vice president at the Trump Organization who has worked with the president for nearly 30 years.
The emails between Trump Jr. and publicist Rob Goldstone showed that the president's son arranged a meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya after learning she could provide damaging information about Hillary Clinton.
"I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first," Goldstone wrote in one of his emails to Trump Jr.
It remains unclear whether Goldstone ever contacted Graff.
The House Intelligence Committee, Senate Intelligence Committee, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and Senate Judiciary subcommittee on crime and terrorism are all investigating the claims of Russian meddling.
Russia has repeatedly denied interfering in the vote, insisting that it does not meddle in the internal affairs of other countries.
Trump has also strongly rejected accusations that his campaign colluded with Moscow in the run-up to the election and has called Mueller's investigation a "witch hunt."
