KUBINKA (Moscow region), (Sputnik) — Shugaev confirmed that Moscow is currently holding talks with Turkey on deliveries of S-400 long-range air defense systems.
"All decisions made in this area are strictly in line with Russia's geopolitical and strategic interests," Shugaev told reporters commenting on the current situation in Russia-Turkey talks on the S-400.

According to Shugaev, foreign customers will be receiving S-400 air defense systems adapted to the armed forces of each respective country.
"Today, for example, the S-400 system is a recognized leader in the field of air defense. It is simply impossible to copy it. It has those most important elements, the possession of which gives the advantages of this system," Shugaev added.
The S-400 is Russia's next-generation air defense system. It carries three different types of missiles capable of destroying aerial targets at a short-to-extremely-long range
