On Wednesday, NBC News reported that Tillerson considered resigning from his position as the top US diplomat back in July, due to disputes over policy and other clashes with the White House. Moreover, media reports also noted that Vice President Mike Pence and other administration officials had to convince Tillerson to stay, a claim that Tillerson directly denied to reporters in his remarks.
