Fists of Steel: Chinese Record-Setter Smashes 302 Nuts With Bare Hands (VIDEOS)
An eye-popping world record was established by a kung fu master, who crushed more than three hundred walnuts in less than a minute.
Martial arts guru Li Weijun broke a Guinness World Record on November 1 by smashing a whopping 302 walnuts with his palm in just 55.87 seconds, Chinese TV channel CGTN reported. The achievement was accomplished several weeks after the previous record was set by Indian martial arts pro Prabhakar Reddy, who destroyed 212 walnuts in 60-seconds.
In order to keep agile, Li, who has trained in various kinds of Chinese martial arts for over 27 years, practices Iron Palm training every day — the technique has made his right palm much bigger and thicker than that of an ordinary person. He decided to take on the challenge to promote the traditional culture of China and attract more people to the martial arts.
