On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" hosts Eugene Puryear and Sean Blackmon are joined by NSA whistleblower William Binney to talk about the difficulties of attributing online hacks and espionage, the vast amount of data the NSA collects on people at home and abroad, how data could be turned into a political weapon, the slippery slope of the intelligence community leaking information to media outlets, the false notion that individual privacy must be sacrificed for safety and protection and the current state of the investigation into who "hacked" the DNC servers ahead of 2016's Presidential election.
Later in the show Eugene Puryear and Sean Blackmon are joined by Shay Totten, Communications Director at Rights and Democracy, to talk about Donald Trump's nomination of former Pharmaceutical executive and former top George W. Bush health official Alex Azar as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services, Trump's obsession with reversing any and all Obama-era policies, and the continued efforts by the GOP to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
In the last hour "By Any Means Necessary" is joined by Netfa Freeman, Organizer with Pan-African Community Action and an Analyst and Events Coordinator at the Institute for Policy Studies, to talk about the ongoing political crisis in Zimbabwe, whether or not a military coup is unfolding in the country, and the underpinnings to the social, economic, and political undoings of Robert Mugabe's government. The group also talks about "black identity extremists" and why the FBI and Department of Justice do not use the phrase "white identity extremists" despite clear evidence of there being such groups.
