“We write to respectfully request that the Court so order the enclosed Stipulation and Proposed Order Regarding the Use of a Cash Deposit in Court as Security in Lieu of a Supersedeas Bond,” Trump’s legal counsel Joseph Tacopina said in a letter to the US district judge Lewis Kaplan. WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Former US President Donald Trump expressed readiness to pay a security payment of about $5.6 million in the writer E. Jean Carroll's court case against him, the court filing revealed on Friday.
