MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian armed forces have liberated at least 275 settlements in the special military operation zone since the beginning of 2025, Sputnik calculated based on data from the Russian Defense Ministry.
As of September 25, Russian troops liberated and took control of 205 settlements. From September 26 to November 30, Russian forces liberated at least another 70 settlements, bringing the total number of liberated settlements over the past 11 months to 275.
The largest number of settlements were liberated in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR): Derilovo, Kirovsk, Seversk Malyi, Kuzminovka, Fedorovka, Moskovskoye, Balagan, Pleshcheyevka, Chunishino, Lenino, Promin, Gnatovka, Maslyakovka, Novoselovka, Stavky, Yampol, Maiskoye, Shandrigolovo, Novopavlovka, Platonovka, Vasyukovka, Zvanovka, and Petrovskoye.
