MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian armed forces struck two dry cargo ships south and east of Odessa in the Black Sea that were delivering military supplies, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"Yesterday evening, unmanned aerial vehicles struck two dry cargo ships delivering military supplies in the Black Sea south and east of Odessa," the ministry said.
Russian forces intensified strikes against Ukraine’s Black Sea coast in July, with logistics hubs and commercial ships being routinely hit as part of sustained military operations. The strikes are conducted continuously as a measure to sever enemy's military supply lines.
