The Russian Defense Ministry has published footage of Russian troops wreaking havoc on Ukrainian forces using howitzers.
"We found it with the help of UAV guys of the IGRB [Independent Guards Reconnaissance Battalion] Sparta. In this case, we already knew the approximate area of the [Ukrainian] mortar's firing range, but since it was not firing, we had to try hard to find it," the commander of the howitzer battalion told Sputnik.
According to the officer, Russian troops fired 10 122 mm shells at the target, while the enemy unit took cover in a building. The latter, together with electronic warfare (EW) jamming by the Ukrainian troops, hampered the attack.
