Over the given period, the Russian armed forces have repelled 13 attacks by Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk direction, one attack in the Krasny Liman direction, and one attack in the Zaporozhye direction, according to the ministry.
"Enemy losses [in the South Donetsk direction] amounted to 170 Ukrainian military personnel, two pickup trucks, and a Rapier anti-tank gun," the ministry said in a statement.
Ukraine has also lost up to 115 soldiers in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
