Some 60 UK Women Join ISIL As Fears Grow Over British Teens Radicalization
This incident came days after the deportation of three male British teens who were detained at an Istanbul airport on suspicion of planning to travel to Syria in order to join Islamist militants.

Meanwhile, the British counter-terrorism police unit arrested a female British citizen in London on Thursday on suspicion of plotting terror attacks, according to UK Metropolitan Police.

"21yo British woman arrested at Luton Airport this morning by SO15 Counter Terrorism Command having landed on a flight from Istanbul," UK Metropolitan Police wrote on Twitter Thursday.

Turkish and British police have intensified their cooperation after three British girls, aged 15-16, flew to Turkey on February 17 and reportedly crossed the border into Syria.

Turkey shares its longest common border with Syria, which is often used as a transit point by would-be ISIL fighters.
