WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A total of 61 percent of registered voters say it is “very” and “somewhat” likely that the Clintons “were selling influence to foreign contributors who made donations to the Clinton Foundation,” the poll conducted between May 31 to June 2 found.
While 33 percent of voters think it is “not very” and “not at all” likely the Clintons traded their influence for donations to the Clinton Foundation.
Hillary Clinton’s approval rating has plummeted since March, after The New York Times reported, citing US Department of State sources, that she had used her personal email address for official business between 2009 to 2013 during her tenure as top US diplomat.
Although Clinton is still perceived as the most favorable contestant for the Democratic presidential nomination, her approval rating has dropped to 57 percent in the most recent Fox News poll, six percent down from poll conducted by the news outlet in early May.
