MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Austrian government will decide whether or not to extend the country's temporary border controls amid the ongoing refugee crisis during the course of this week, a spokesman for the Austrian Interior Ministry told Sputnik Monday.
"Decision will be taken this week by the Austrian government," Karl-Heinz Grundbock said, commenting on the plans to further extend the set of emergency measures aimed at containing the massive influx of refugees, mainly from North Africa and the Middle East, to the country.
