Russia, Angola Will Boost Security Information Exchange - Russian Official
10:49 GMT 24.11.2015 (Updated: 10:54 GMT 24.11.2015) Russia and Angola plan to boost information exchange on the level of the countries' security councils to manage new challenges, in particular that of an increased threat of terrorism, the head of Russia's Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, said Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Nikolai Patrushev is on a three-day working trip to South Africa and Angola to discuss global security issues.
"We had productive consultations with our Angolan colleagues, we shared views on the global situation and discussed some local issues. We are satisfied, as our vision on these issues significantly coincides," Patrushev told reporters.

According to the Russian official, both sides agreed to boost information exchange on the level of the countries' security councils "to more effectively deal with new challenges and threats."
The international community is implementing extra anti-terrorism measures, after 130 were killed in a series of coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13, and the October 31 deadly crash of a Russian Airbus A321 passenger plane in Egypt due a bomb explosion. The Islamic State jihadist group has claimed responsibility for both atrocities.
