Fifteen anglers are missing as their boat capsized off the coast of the Langkawi archipelago in northwestern Malaysia, local media reported Sunday.

Malaysia Evacuates Over 5,500 Citizens Due to Flooding

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to The Star newspaper, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) received a distress call Saturday evening over the incident. A vessel was dispatched to carry out search-and-rescue operations.

The operations continued Sunday morning with more vessels, including marine police ships, but they were unable to locate the anglers.
