The latest round of the intra-Syria talks began on April 13, and according to the United Nations, was supposed to focus on Syria's political transition, governance, and the constitution. Earlier this week, the HNC postponed its participation in the latest round of the talks in protest of the ongoing violence in Syria for which they blame Damascus.
"For us there is one issue on the agenda, political transition. If they want to continue, they must discuss political transition," Makhous said.
"We have a full detailed plan on the political transition… we are going to present an absolutely full plan, and let it be the subject for discussions. If the regime has another alternative, we are ready to discuss it, but not in the form they suggest now — just reforming the current government," Makhous said.
