NAGATO (Sputnik) — Putin received a print of the scroll in Japanese style titled Putyatin's Arrival while he presented to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe a Tula copper samovar made in 1870 and a painting by Igor Razzhivin.
Yevfimy Putyatin was Russian admiral, statesman and diplomat. In 1855, he signed the first treaty of friendship and trade between Russia and Japan.

Putin gave Abe a samovar and painting "Russian Troika in Kolomenskoye" and received a copy of the painting "Arrival of Putyatin" about the visit of the Russian admiral
Earlier in the day, Putin and Abe held a meeting in the Japanese town of Nagato during the two-day visit of the Russian leader to the Asian nation.
