WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Sikorsky Aircraft was awarded $137,986,916 for Executive Helicopter Special Progressive Aircraft Rework sustainment support services, according to the release.
Sikorsky will also provide security, project engineering and integrated logistics support for the presidential helicopters program, the release added.
The mission of VH-3D and the VH-60N, popularly referred to as 'Marine One' when carrying the President, is to transport the chief executive, vice president, cabinet and foreign dignitaries.
