Faces of 2023 ASEAN Summit in Indonesia

Jakarta hosted the 43rd ASEAN Summit "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth" on September 4-7. Indonesian President Joko Widodo chaired the summit.
The summit has benefited Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) economic development, Widodo stressed in his speech at the closing ceremony on Thursday.
The president highlighted that the participants have reached agreements on many issues in the economic field. The chair emphasized the significance of the East Asia Summit (EAS) declaration on the epicenter of growth, as well as the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) implementation which has been extremely fruitful with 93 cooperation agreements signed.

"I appreciate the support and contributions of ASEAN countries and ASEAN partners, which have resulted in 93 cooperation projects worth $38.2 billion and 73 potential projects valued at $17.8 billion," Widodo stated.
