However, Nehls noted that he would not block Emmer’s bid if he were to secure 216 votes.

However, Congressman Troy Nehls claimed that Emmer cannot secure enough support among

"In the end, I think there were maybe 28 or so that stated they’re going to choose someone else other than Tom Emmer," Nehls said. "I don’t see how he gets to 217 [votes]," the Representative stressed.
