MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 510 soldiers in clashes with Russia’s Battlegroup Yug in the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Wednesday.
"Ukraine's losses amounted to up to 510 Ukrainian troops, two armoured fighting vehicles, eight motor vehicles, one 152-mm D-20 howitzer, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, two US-made 105-mm M119 howitzers, one Bukovel-AD electronic warfare station, and three ammunition depots," the MoD said, adding that Ukraine also lost up to 300 soldiers in clashes with the Russian Battlegroup Sever.
Moreover, the Ukrainian military losses in clashes with Russia’s Battlegroup Tsentr amounted to up to 405 soldiers, according to the ministry.

"Two counterattacks launched by assault detachments of Ukraine's 3rd Mechanized Brigade were repelled [by Battlegroup Zapad]. Ukraine's losses amounted to up to 400 troops, one tank, five pickup trucks, one US-made 155-mm M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system, two BM-21 Grad MLRS combat vehicles, and two field ammunition depots," the ministry noted.
