"This is absolutely certain: Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella [the party's leader] in power will try to do this. They will try to initiate negotiations and sit [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, [Ukraine's Volodymyr] Zelensky and all our allies at the negotiating table to achieve peace," Versini said.
Le Pen's position on Russia and the conflict in Ukraine is "crystal clear," he added.
