'No Deal Better Than a Bad Deal'? Brexit Negotiations Underway

On June 23, 2016, the United Kingdom held a referendum on leaving the European Union. England and Wales voted in favor of leaving the European Union, while Scotland and Northern Ireland voted against.

Brexit negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union officially kicked off on June 19, and are due to be completed by the end of March 2019.
